VENUE AND TICKET PRICES

From Duchamp’s Urinal to Warhol’s Factory with a little help from recycled bottled tops, human hair and three bottles of Coke, we look at how artists in Tate Modern’s collection have challenged the artistic canon, exploding notions of what constitutes a work of art.

This fresh collection pulls no punches – new director Frances Morris addresses the imbalance of what has been on show amongst today’s art museums. Here we see a more female and global view of the Tate Collection. Her goal is no less than to change our minds on what the Western canon of art should look like. There is a limit of 15 places on this tour.

The group will meet at the bottom of the escalators in the BOILER HOUSE near the cloak room on Level 0 (Turbine Hall entrance).

N.B. Prompt start at 19:00. Please allow 15 minutes to find the group and check your coat etc.
